Rooney's Boxing Gym Training Camps
Rooneys Gym - 6 Day, High Altitude Training Camp in the Rila Mountains Day 1 - Arrive at Gatwick for 4:45 am for the flight from Gatwick to Sofia. Coaches to take you to Rooney's private villa upon arrival. Once at the villa you’ll have time to settle down, get a meal, have a look at the gym and train if you wish or relax in the beautiful surroundings of Rila Mountain. Day 2 - 6am, 5km run or walk at 1500m up. Breakfast is available from 8am to 9:30am. Relax and then the training will commence at Rooney’s gym from 13:00pm to 15:00pm (you’ll have the chance to take a dip into the ice cold river as a perfect cool down). Back to the villa for a quick shower, and back to Rila for a hike or pony trek ride to the ancient pyramids of Stob to enjoy the scenery and relax. Then an evening meal at one of the local restaurants, to finish off the day. Day 3 - 6am, 5km run or walk at 1500m up. Breakfast is available from 8am to 9:30am. Relax and then the training will commence at Rooney’s gym from 13:00pm to 15:00pm (you’ll have the chance to take a dip into the ice cold river as a perfect cool down). Quick shower, followed by a hike up to the top of Rila Mountains (which is 2200metres high) to relax, we will then have a BBQ by the lake and hike back down have a meal and the night is you’re to enjoy how you wish. Day 4- 6am, 5km run or walk at 1500m up. Breakfast is available from 8am to 9:30am. Relax and then the training will commence at Rooney’s gym from 13:00pm to 15:00pm (you’ll have the chance to take a dip into the ice cold river as a perfect cool down). Quick shower then off to enjoy a day at Blagoevgrad Aqua Park, back to the villa, and enjoy a meal in one the beautiful local riverside restaurants. Day 5 - 6am, 5km run or walk at 1500m up. Breakfast is available from 8am to 9:30am. Relax and then the training will commence at Rooney’s gym from 13:00pm to 15:00pm (you’ll have the chance to take a dip into the ice cold river as a perfect cool down). Quick shower, then a mountain hike or pony trek ride to a fishing lake where you can sunbathe or go fishing. Then back to the villa for a shower, a farewell banquet including spit roast suckling pig, a full kid goat and all the trimmings. One of the nights gone be a fantastic night out at one the best piano bars/nightclubs in Blagoevgrad. Day 6 - Breakfast 7am. Coach to airport at 8:30am for a 12midday flight back to London (arrive 1pm GMT). Group Bookings availability is a minimum of 15 people to 24 people. The Villa The villa is placed in the heart of Rila mountain, close to one of the oldest and most famous cultural monuments in Bulgaria - The Rila Monastery. The villa has rooms with various number of views, some of which looking directly at the mountain itself. We can also offer our guests perfectly cooked dishes, both traditional and modern, as well as wide collection of Bulgarian wines, some of which made of grapes grown in the Rila monastery area.
